Edinburgh Gaelic Week 2017
Post Date: 14/12/2016
For P4-7 pupils in Gaelic-medium education, two days of activities for each school, week beginning 24th April 2017. Each school is able to attend for two days but you are able to come for one if that suits you better.
Schools who are staying overnight in Edinburgh will be attending on the Wednesday and Thursday to allow for travel. There will be a ceilidh on Wednesday evening.
Each activity is planned with the Education team at the venue and the classes are in Gaelic.
We pay all entry fees for the activities and provide packed lunches for residential groups.
In order to support schools to attend we generally pay 30% of travel and accomodation costs, up to a maximum of £600.
This year we hope to visit Our Dynamic Earth, Edinburgh Castle or National Museum of Scotland. Botanic Gardens and the Scottish Portrait Gallery.
If there is any subject that you would particularly like to study in any of these venues please let me know.
